Summary: | The invention provides a method for improving the strength and reducing the strength dispersity of glass by high-temperature treatment and ion exchange and reinforced glass, belonging to the technical field of glass reinforcement. The method comprises the following steps of: placing and treating glass sheets in an ion exchange medium at 450 DEG C for 16 hours to obtain ion exchange glass; treating the ion exchange glass in air at 300-350 DEG C for 0.5-2.5 hours; and then naturally cooling, wherein the ion exchange medium comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 97 percent of industrial pure KNO3, 0.5 percent of Al2O3 as an additive, 2 percent of K2CO3 and 0.5 percent of KOH. The ion exchange glass has the advantages of high strength, low strength dispersity, simple process and low treatment cost, and the provided reinforced glass can be used as the windshield glass of rapid trains, airplanes, and the like. |
