The invention relates to a positioning mechanism and a shell with the same. The shell comprises a shell body with an opening, a door panel and the positioning mechanism. The door panel is pivoted on the shell body so as to move relative to the shell body in opening and closing states of the opening. The positioning mechanism comprises first and second connectors and a locking release assembly. One of the first and second connectors is arranged close to the surface of the opening in the shell body, and the other one is arranged on the door panel; and when the door panel is closed, the first and second connectors are combined.
