Summary:The invention discloses a preparation process of putty for a dry-type air-core reactor. The preparation process comprises the following steps of: firstly, respectively weighting the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 1 percent of epoxy resin E-51, 3.0 percent of silicon micro powder, 0.86 percent of MeTHPA (Methyl Tetrahydrophthalic Anhydride) and 0.005 percent of accelerant MDP-30; then, heating the epoxy resin E-51 to 120 DEG C, adding the silicon micro powder, fully stirring for 2 h and keeping 120 DEG C in the stirring process; and finally, adding the MeTHPA and the accelerant MDP-30, fully mixing, stirring and cooling to 20-40 DEG C. The optimized putty material proportioning and preparing process has the advantages of simple process, low production cost and short period, and the insulating and sealing performance of the reactor is effectively improved.
