Summary: | A new profile of the internal neck that instead of being simply cylindrical it presents an internal ring in the proximity and at the height of the plain of the support ledge (A) and to which corresponds a specific profile of the area under the support ledge (B). These profiles permit to have a ring of different shapes and geometries (SWERVE SHAPE) of the internal material between the support ledge and the area under the support ledge which re-enforce the neck avoiding to become oval and to help to avoid the deformation of the support ledge during the blowing process without penalizing the reduction in weight. This invention permits to obtain ultra-light containers which maintain a good physical-mechanical behavior. The reduction in weight is also done with the reduction of the weight of the neck. This is often obtained with the reduction of the of the width (s) of the neck which though may cause the neck to become oval creating problems regarding sealing and therefore loss of the content.
