The environment-friendly and high efficiency turf roll comprises a graben layer, a non-woven fabric layer, a matrix layer and a lawn grass layer from bottom to top. Both the graben layer and the matrix layer are produced by mixing agriculturally organic wastes, such as old husk ash, sawdust, animal wastes and humic acid raw powders. The turf roll has the characteristics of short production period, strong tensile force, good quality, energy conservation and environmental protection.
