Summary:The invention provides a backlight module and a display device with the same. The backlight module comprises a light-guiding plate and at least one LED (Light-Emitting Diode) with a first lateral surface, the luminous surface of the LED is arranged on the first lateral surface, the backlight module also comprises at least one pairs of grooves and a pair of projections, wherein each pair of grooves is respectively and oppositely arranged in the incidence surface of the light-guiding plate, and the pair of the projections is oppositely arranged at both ends of the first lateral surface of the LED and correspondingly combined with the pair of the grooves so that the luminous surface of the LED tightly contacts with the incidence surface of the light-guiding plate.
