Summary: | The invention discloses a method for reducing stress cracks of wheel blanks. The method comprises: step 1, reducing stress concentration of an aluminum alloy wheel and performing thermal-treatment shot peening on a back cavity of a blank; and step 2, reducing temperature difference in the cooling process, wherein the temperature of a wheel center of the blank before cooling is far above that of aspoke according to the temperature display of thermal-sensitive pictures, so the blank can crack at a stress concentration point after cooling contraction; and spraying water on the wheel center of the front of the wheel molded from a die, wherein the temperature of sprayed water is 30 to 40 DEG C; water-spraying time is 40 to 90 seconds; and the flow of the sprayed water is 150 to 250 liters/hour. |
