The invention also relates to a preparation method of the anti-rust additive which comprises that the anti-rust additive is added to water, water-based cutting fluid, water-based grinding fluid, water-soluble anti-rust oil, oil-soluble anti-rust oil, paint or coating to play an anti-rust pole. The anti-rust additive provided by the invention does not contain carcinogen nitrite, and is water-soluble anti-rust additive with good performance and no harm; and in addition, the anti-rust additive is water-soluble, can be used under the condition of hard water, and has good anti-rust effect.
