The embodiment of the invention provides a chain type steel conveyor and a steel conveying system. The chain type steel conveyor comprises an obliquely arranged slide rail, wherein the lower position of the slide rail extends to a lower-position rolling rail; the lower part of the slide rail is provided with a conveying chain which can circularly rotate; the upper position and the lower position at the inner side of the conveying chain are respectively provided with drive chain wheels meshed with the conveying chain; the outer side of the conveying chain is fixedly provided with a plurality of pusher dogs for receiving blanks; the distance between the end part of the outer side of each pusher dog and the combining part of each pusher dog and the conveying chain is larger than that betweenthe surface of the outer side of the slide rail and the surface of the outer side of the conveying chain; and the spacing distances of the two adjacent pusher dogs on the conveying chain are equal.
