Summary:The invention relates to the technical field of medicine, in particular to an anticancer compound holothuria nobilis selenka nobiliside separated from holothuria nobilis selenka, having the molecularformula C41H65O17SNa. As multiple modern spectral analysis is adopted, more particularly, advanced two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum and high resolution mass spectrography are applied for comprehensive resolution, chemical structure and three-dimensional configuration of the compound are determined. In vitro anti-tumor test proves that the compound has remarkable inhibiting effect for two tumour cell strains of A-549 lung cancer and IA-9 ovarian cancer. The invention provides a lead compound for preparing new anticancer drugs, thus having important valve for developing and utilizing Chinese ocean medical biological resources.
