The invention discloses a method for sending broadcast data, comprising the following steps: an access point (AP) sends a Beacon frame carried with a designated service set identifier (SSID) and notice information, wherein, the notice information is used for noticing a service set support corresponding to the SSID to broadcast to a client side receiving the Beacon frame; the client side receivingthe Beacon frame comprises the client side which is connected to the AP and the client side which is not connected to the AP; and the AP sends a broadcast data frame corresponding to the designated SSID so that all the client sides receiving the Beacon frame process the data frame after receiving the broadcast data frame corresponding to the designated SSID sent by the AP. The invention further discloses customer premise equipment and the AP. In the technical scheme of the invention, the customer premise equipment which is not connected to the AP can also process the data frame after receivingthe broadcast data frame
