Summary:The invention relates to an improved method for preparing sulfur base fertilizer, which belongs to the field of producing compound fertilizer. The method comprises that: (1) concentrated sulfuric acid is added to a falling-film absorption tower, is preheated and then flows into a conversion tank; potassium chloride is directly added to the conversion tank, supplied with steam and subjected to dechlorination conversion reaction; and dechlorination products overflow to an acid-mixing groove; (2) generated hydrogen chloride gas is cooled, absorbed and turned into hydrochloric acid; (3) phosphoric acid is preheated sequentially through the falling-film absorption tower and a graphite heat exchanger, added to the acid-mixing groove and mixed with the dechlorination products to form mixed acid slurry; or common industrial water is preheated sequentially through the falling-film absorption tower and the graphite heat exchanger and then added to the acid-mixing groove, and monoammonium phosphate is directly added to
