Summary:The invention discloses a method for implementing visual telephone service, comprising: transferring the video frequency stream format of the talk opposite terminal received by the mobile terminal to a format which can be played by the external connection display equipment of the mobile terminal and transmitting to the external connection display equipment of the mobile terminal; the external connection display equipment of the mobile terminal playing the received video frequency stream. The invention realizes the visual telephone service by the external connection display equipment which takes the computer display or television set as the mobile terminal and obtains the clear image effect whatever in the hotel or at home during business trip without special videophone device.
