Summary: | The invention relates to the application of high molecular polymer for vein embolic materials in the field of biomedical engineering, in particular to developable iodic polymer and embolic material thereof. The developable iodic polymer of the invention is prepared according to the following steps: natural high molecular materials are obtained, organic solvent is added for dissolving and activating the natural high molecular materials, and alkali and acyl chloride organic substances are sequentially added for esterification reaction; the natural high molecular materials include starch, fibrin and chitosan or derivant thereof; the esterified natural high molecular materials and iodine-containing compound are dissolved in the organic solvent to carry out the displacement reaction for generating iodine-containing high molecular materials; and the iodine-containing compound include iodized salt and organic iodic acid or organic iodic salt.
