Summary:The invention provides a method and a device for testing low-temperature property of drilling fluid. The device comprises a high and low temperature experimental box (1), a data acquisition system (9), a camera (6) arranged at the top of experimental box body, a tester and two temperature sensors in the experimental box. The two temperature sensors are respectively used for detecting temperature in a working chamber in the experimental box and temperature of drilling fluid on an operation platform (11); the data acquisition system is disposed outside the experimental box and is respectively connected with the camera and the temperature sensors through signal wires. The method comprised steps of making constant or variable low-temperature and low-humidity environment in the working chamberwith the high and low temperature experimental box, putting the drilling fluid and the tester on the operation platform, reducing temperature to a set value, then detecting properties of the drillingfluid with the temperature
