The dust collecting electric fan comprises a rotating shaft and fan blades fixed on the periphery of the rotating shaft, and is characterized in that the outmost end of the rotating shaft is provided with a dust collector; and the inlet scoop of the dust collector faces the fan blades. The dust collecting electric fan has the advantages that: dust is prevented from accumulating on the fan blades and an outer hood, so the fan blades and the outer hood are free from cleaning; and when the fan is turned on, the dust cannot fly in a room.
