Summary:The present invention provides a skinned and resin-molded article which comprises the following components: a substrate (31) which is provided with a dent (36) formed by a side wall (35) and a base part (34); a skin component (32) which obstructs the dent and is provided with an insertion strip (42) that is inserted along the side wall; and forming material (33) which is filled into the dent that is obstructed by the skin component. The insertion strip comprises the following components: a planar part (43) held in contact with the sidewall, and a groove (44) disposed toward a distal end thereof. The sidewall has a projection (45) inosculated with the groove, thereby positioning the skin material in place through the inosculating between the projection and the groove.
