Summary:The invention concerns a tyre comprising at least one carcass-type reinforcing structure (6) anchored on either side of the tyre in a bead (4), said anchor including a ply turn-up of said carcass-type reinforcing structure around a bead core (15) for form a turned up section (8) terminating in a free end (13). Said tyre further comprises at least one circumferential bielastic reinforcing element (10) consisting of bielastic fabrics, said fabric being a bielastic knitted fabric or a meshed fabric whose loops forming the meshes being capable of moving relative to one another in the knitting direction and in the direction perpendicular to the knitting direction, said at least one bielastic reinforcing element (10) being designed to extend along the end region of the turned up section of the carcass-type reinforcing structure.
