Summary: | The invention provides a controlled expansion coefficient alloy and a manufacturing method thereof and is characterized in that alloy expansion coefficient is stabilized at (8.5 to 10.1) multiplied by 10 <-6>/DEG C in the temperature range of -55 DEG C to 400 DEG C; and the chemical composition of the alloy (wt%) is that C is less than or equal to 0.01 percent, Si is less than or equal to 0.2 percent, Mn is less than or equal to 0.2 percent, Ni is from 46.0 percent to 48.0 percent, Cr is from 25 percent to 4.95 percent, Zr is from 0.03 percent to 0.08 percent, S is less than 0.005 percent, P is less than 0.02 percent, and Fe or unavoidable impurity elements are in balancing amount. The alloy can be processed into bars, wires and strips and widely applicable to the processing and manufacturing of electronic vacuum devices, such as color kinescopes, luminescent tubes, and vacuum fluorescent displays. |
