This invention provides a light diffusing resin composition, which, when molded into a large-plane light diffusing plate, does not cause any heat deterioration-derived yellowing and can exhibit good light diffusing properties, and a light diffusing plate using the resin composition. The light diffusing resin composition comprises 100 parts by mass of a polycarbonate resin comprising a polycarbonate copolymer (A) having repeating structural units represented by formulae (I) and (II) and 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a light diffusing agent (B).
