Summary:A lubricant composition that excels in suppression of the hydrogen brittle flaking of member, such as a rolling bearing, slide bearing, gear, ball screw, linear guide, linear bearing, cam or any of various joints, placed in high-concentration hydrogen environment. There is provided a lubricant composition comprising a base oil and an additive, wherein the additive is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an organic sulfonic acid salt, a carboxylic acid salt, a thiocarbamic acid salt and a thiophosphoric ester salt. Further, there is provided a rolling bearing, slide bearing, gear, ball screw, linear guide, linear bearing, cam or any of various joints wherein use is made of the above lubricant composition.
