The invention discloses a process for removing zinc of zincous gas mud. The process is characterized in that a tunnel kiln is utilized to process the zincous gas mud; specific equipment comprises a tunnel kiln body, a kiln car and a reaction tank; the zincous gas mud is put to the reaction tank; the reaction tank is put on the kiln car; the kiln car runs in the tunnel kiln and passes through a preheating belt, a sintering belt and a cooling belt to complete the reduction process; under the condition of no addition of other compositions, the process utilizes the prior tunnel kiln in the refractory industry, uses the simple production process to independently process the zincous gas mud and effectively reduces the zinc content of the gas mud in order that the zinc content in the zincous gas mud is reduced from original 0.67 percent to less than 0.005 percent.
