Summary:The invention provides a screw compressor having a rotor chamber housing a pair of male and female screw rotors meshing with each other, and bearing chambers for retaining bearings for supporting rotor shafts of the screw rotors and being provided with oil reservoirs for storing lubricating oil. In order to cool down the screw rotors, cooling pipes through which cooling liquid introduced in the rotor chamber flows are provided so as to pass through the oil reservoirs. By such a configuration, the lubricating oil for the bearings of the screw compressor is cooled down.
