Summary:The invention discloses a method for attracting Ips typographus by utilizing pheromones, which relates to the technical field of forest pest control. Cis-3-Hexen-1-ol, cis-verbenol and 2-methyl-3-Buten-2-ol are adopted as the pheromones for attraction, wherein the three pheromones are placed into an air-permeable slow release carrier respectively, and the release speed rates are all controlled within the range of between 10 and 50mg/d. An Ips typographus attractant has broad application prospect, is particularly suitable to be popularized and applied to peasants due to the low cost of a formula, achieves the aims of species group monitoring and control, can minimize the loss of the damage of the Ips typographus in our country, and has economic, social and ecological benefits.
