Defoliant

A mixture contains (A) thidiazuron, or thidiazuron and diuron, and (B) one or several compositions of the group of benzofuranes, preferably benfuresate and/or ethofumesate, is suited for use as a defoliating agent and/or for the reduction of regrowths, particularly in cotton cultures.
