Summary: | Disclosed is an electric circuit comprising a terminal for a power source, an electric load, and a thermal-mechanical fuse which interrupts the power supply to the load in case of a fault, when excessive heat is emitted, power being supplied via a feeder in which a spring is located that has two ends. At least one of said two ends of the spring is soldered to a soldered joint provided in the feeder. The at least one soldered joint is mechanically preloaded under the effect of the restoring force of the spring. Said mechanical preloading action separates the soldered connection between the spring and the at least one soldered joint in the feeder when the solder melts at the soldered joint. According to the invention, a mechanical abutment is provided which is connected in a heat-conducting manner to the heat source emitting excessive heat in case of a fault. The mechanical abutment resists a restoring force of the spring at temperatures prevailing on the abutment during faultless operation while yielding to th |
