Summary:The present invention provides a metering mechanism which stores the object to be metered in a supply section at an order arranging state. A metering mechanism includes a measuring hopper and a supply section. The measuring hopper is used to measure the weight of the stick shaped object to be metered. The supply section can store the delivered object to be metered, and provides the stored object to be metered to the measuring hopper. When the object to be metered is delivered to the supply section, the supply section can expand or reduce the storage space. Specifically, the supply section is provided with a fixed part and a movable part. A throw-in mouth for throwing from upper side the object to be metered, and an outlet for discharging the object to be metered downwards are provided on the fixed part. The movable part moves in the fixed part along directions which are perpendicular to the width direction and upper and lower direction of the object to be metered, stored in the supplypart.
