Summary:Disclosed is a polytropic compressor set which comprises an internal cooling type compressor and a counter flow heat exchanger, and is designed for controlling the air compression process polytropic exponent; the cooling mode of the internal cooling type compressor includes that the compressor shell is cooled by the cooling medium; the compression air is cooled indirectly. When the heat transfer temperature difference of the counter flow heat exchanger approximates to zero, the compression process approximates to the constant temperature; the polytropic compressor set is approximated as a constant temperature compressor set.
