Summary:Disclosed is a polytropic expansion unit, composed of an internal heating expansion engine and a countercurrent heat exchanger, aiming to control the polytropic exponents in gas expansion process. The heating mode of the internal heating expansion engine is that heating medium heats the shell of the expansion engine, thus indirectly heating the expansive gas. When the heat transfer temperature difference of the countercurrent heat exchanger is nearly zero, the temperatures during the expansion process are approximately the same, so the polytropic expansion unit is nearly a constant-temperature expansion unit.
