Summary:An underrun protector mounting structure (3) comprises a chassis frame (4), an underrun protector (5) disposed at the front or rear of the chassis frame (4) and extending in the lateral direction of a vehicle, a bracket (6) for securing the underrun protector (5) to the chassis frame (4), and a support part (7) interposed between the front underrun-protector (5) and the bracket (6). The support part (7) includes a first plate (31) disposed on the underrun protector (5) side and a second plate part (32) disposed on the bracket (6) side of the first plate (31). The first plate (31) is formed wider than the second plate (32) in the lateral direction of the vehicle. The first plate part (31) and the second plate part (32) are stacked on each other like a leaf spring in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
