The invention provides a side-incident style backlight module and a corresponding light-source apparatus. The side-incident style backlight module comprises a light guiding plate and at least one light-source apparatus. The light guiding plate is provided with an exit face, a bottom face and at least one incident face, wherein, the bottom face is opposite to the exit face and the incident face is connected between the exit face and bottom face. The light-source apparatus is arranged beside the incident face and comprises a lamp, two clamping parts and two isolating parts. Two ends of the lamp are respectively provided with an electrode zone and each clamping part is provided with clamping holes. Two ends of the lamp are respectively arranged into the clamping holes and the electrode zones are fully positioned in the clamping holes.
