Summary:A case for portable power tools (50) with a housing (52) from which an electric cable (54) emerges, wherein the case (10) for portable power tools consists of a bottom box (16) which can be closed at the top by a lid (14), wherein the box (16), in particular also the lid (14), has a base (18) and four side walls (20), preferably intermediate walls (20) and supporting ribs (30), can be packed and unpacked more easily and in a better ordered manner by virtue of the fact that the case (10) for portable power tools has an, in particular arched, supporting profile (34) in the interior, said supporting profile (34) serving to accommodate the electric cable (54) of the portable power tool (50), to be stored/transported, in a captive manner, in particular in such a way that it is coiled in windings (40) around it.
