Summary:The invention provides a method and device for separating hydrogen from gas stream containing oxygen. The gas stream mainly involves hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane and/or other hydrocarbon. The gas stream (1) is compressed with a multi-phase compressing process (2) and is cooled to room temperature with help of a heat exchanger (3). After going through a pre-absorption apparatus (4), the gas stream is guided into a catalytic process for oxygen removal (K). The catalytic process for oxygen removal processes with heat release. Next, the gas stream is cooled to room temperature through another heat exchanger (W) and is guided into a changeable pressure adsorption process for separating hydrogen, wherein, hydrogen (6) is separated from residual gas (7).
