Summary:There is provided a driving assist system and a vehicle device, which outputs the driving assist information based on the traffic circumstance information irrespective of the received condition and the like, wherein the traffic circumstance information is the information transmitted from the road side apparatus to the vehicle-mounted apparatus. The vehicle-mounted apparatus (10) maintaining the required allowance for executing the following units including an image display unit for displaying the image, a vehicle position display unit for displaying the vehicle position and a vehicle presence display unit for displaying the presence of the vehicle. The vehicle-mounted apparatus (10) also selects a display unit for satisfying the above condition related to the validity of the vehicle presence display unit derivative from the traffic circumstance. The vehicle-mounted apparatus (10) also outputs the driving assist information.
