Summary:A secure and efficient package for containing a compact electronic storage media device, especially suitable for use in the retail sales environment. The package is, in a preferred embodiment, integrally formed of a semi-rigid plastic material. This package includes a front and a back, both of which form recesses for a receiving media and other items. A media well is formed as a segregated recesswithin one or both of the front recess and the back recess. Media retaining tabs secure the media device in the media well in such a manner that tends to frustrate surreptitious removal by unauthorized persons.
