The invention discloses the traditional Chinese medicine preparation for preventing respiratory tract viral infection diseases, which is prepared by medicinal materials such as atractylis, fructus tsaoko, hairy kind of sage, haichow elsholtzia, peppermint, wrinkled gianthyssop, clove and camphol being assigned by certain weight ratios; the preparation method is that: the clove is added with water, then the volatile oil is extracted by steam distillation; weighed six grams of atractylis, fructus tsaoko, hairy kind of sage, haichow elsholtzia, peppermint and wrinkled gianthyssop are added with water, then the volatile oil is extracted by steam distillation; then camphol is added to the combination of the volatile oil produced from the above two steps for dissolving in the volatile oil, and then the volatile oil is completed. Finally, every sixty grams of volatile oil is added with five hundred and eighty milliliters of ethanol, one hundred grams of glycerin and one milliliter of linalool, and then is added with
