Summary: | Extruded full catalyst for the decomposition of nitrogen oxide in presence of a reducing agent, comprises 60-87 wt.% of an ion exchanger, zeolite containing at least a metal of copper, hafnium, lanthanum, gold, indium, vanadium, lanthanides and transition metals of group VIII, greater than 10-37 wt.% of aluminum oxide and 2-10 wt.% of inorganic fibers. An independent claim is included for a method for the preparation of the catalyst comprising mixing zeolite (as initial material), aluminum oxide or precursor substance of aluminum oxide (in powder form) with inorganic fibers, optionally adding an organic auxiliary agent in an aqueous acid or alkali solution to the mixture, stirring and kneading to obtain a plastic mixture, extruding the mixture to a catalyst body, drying the catalyst body and calcinating the catalyst body at 550-650[deg] C. |
