Summary:An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a non-glossy galvanized steel wire are provided to maintain coating layers uniformly, enable color to be easily coated on the surface of a steel wire, and improve quality of the non-glossy galvanized steel wire, and a non-glossy galvanized steel wire manufactured by the same. An apparatus for manufacturing a non-glossy galvanized steel wire for color coating comprising an Fe layer(200), an alloy layer(202) and a pure zinc layer(204) comprises: a zinc pot(500) in which zinc(502) is contained; a movable immersion guide part(504) which is installed above the zinc pot, and includes a rotary roller(506) and a rail(508) to adjust a predetermined immersion distance in a step of immersing the Fe layer into the zinc pot; a pad wiping(510) and a wire wiping(512) that are installed in front of an upper side of the zinc pot to minimize the pure zinc layer in a galvanizing step; and a movable cooling guide part(514) including a rotary roller(516) and a rail(518) which are installed to maintain a predetermined distance from the wire wiping, and of which positions relative to a cooling furnace can be adjusted in order to secure a cooling distance from the cooling furnace after plating.
