Summary:The invention relates to an electronic jacquard machine control system with data check and correction function and control method thereof. The control system includes a plurality of electrically connected electromagnetic needle selector and a controller for driving the electromagnetic needle selector to operating pattern work, wherein each electromagnetic needle selector includes a series-in parallel-out shift register, a switch component electrically connected with parallel output end of the series-in parallel-out shift register, and a data check component equipped on each electromagnetic needle selector, parallel data input end of the data check component is connected with parallel output end of the series-in parallel-out shift register, data output end of the data check component is electrically connected with the controller to form a feedback path. Due to the feedback path between the electromagnetic needle selector and the controller, data output from the controller to the shift register can be fed back
