Summary:A lens unit, comprising a lens-barrel (7) having a through-hole (6), a first lens (8a) press-fitted into the through-hole (6), a first step part (9a) locking the outer peripheral end part of the first lens (8a) in the through-hole (6), a second lens (8b) press-fitted into the through-hole (6) in the optical axis direction of the first lens (8a) and having a diameter larger than that of the first lens (8a), and a second step part (9b) locking the outer peripheral end part of the second lens (8b) in the through-hole (6). Either of a third step part (10a) and a tilted area enlarging from the first lens side toward the second lens side is formed between the first step part (9a) and the second step part (9b).
