Summary:In a first invention, the flow of a spacer-dispersed liquid occurs in a transportation chamber (22) separated from a discharge chamber (21) by an internal filter (30), and as a result, the discharge chamber (21) located on the nozzle plate (26) side is not affected by the flow and the spacer-dispersed liquid is stably discharged from an ejection hole (32). In a second invention, in a printing condition where a spacer-dispersed liquid (167) is discharged, the spacer-dispersed liquid does not flow inside a discharge chamber (121), and therefore the spacer-dispersed liquid (167) is stably discharged from an ejection hole (132). On the other hand, in a standby condition where the spacer-dispersed liquid is not discharged, the spacer-dispersed liquid is caused to flow in both the discharge chamber (121) and a transportation chamber (122), and as a result, spacer particles (169) in the spacer-dispersed liquid (167) do not settle.
