Summary:The invention discloses a global sharing method and device for local data in SIMD processor, where the local data buffered by local register file of a functional unit is transmitted through no-operation pass to the bus in an operation cluster and then written into the other local register files in the operation cluster through in-cluster crossing selection toggle, so as to implement data sharing in the operation cluster; or outputted to inter-cluster bus through communication unit and then fed into the buses in the other operation clusters through inter-cluster crossing selection toggle and finally written into local registers of remote operation clusters through their internal crossing, so as to implement inter-cluster data sharing. And the invention can simplify distributed sharing mechanism, reduce communication delay between distributed sharing processors, and reduce their communication complexity.
