Summary: | The present invention provided a method which can be used for separating and recovering high purity indium from a hydrochloric acid solution containing indium with ease at a low cost. An indium adsorbing agent which comprises, as a primary component, an anion-exchange resin having a cross-linked structure formed by the copolymerization of styrene or acrylonitrile and divinyl benzene and anyone of a quaternary ammonium group and a tertiary ammonium group and also having a capability of adsorbing an acid; and a method for separating indium, which comprises contacting an acid solution having hydrochloric acid as a primary component and containing indium with the above anion-exchange resin, to allow the anion-exchange resin to adsorb indium. |
