Neighboring pixel groups in a row or column are mutually connected with bordering control lines (6n,6n+1) or data lines (7m,7m+1). to enable display to be controlled with conventional control procedure. One control process with row inversions provides quality of pixel inversion. First pixel group consisting of e.g. two neighboring pixels in horizontal row are connected with first bordering control line. Next neighboring pixel group in this horizontal row is connected with the other bordering control line. Same can be realized for a column so neighboring pixel groups in column are connected with first data line and next pixel group is connected with the other bordering data line. Provides for control with row voltage or column voltage, a row or column in form or saw tooth of zig zag. For control with row voltage pixel groups from horizontal first row and horizontal second row are connected to control line and selected by row voltage so horizontal neighboring pixel groups are always opposed in polarity.
