Furthermore, the present invention relates to stable pharmaceutical formulations comprising erythropoietin and peptide stabilizers selected from dipeptides, tripeptides, tetrapeptides, pentapeptides, and mixtures thereof. In addition to peptide stabilizers, the formulations may contain surfactants.
