Summary:A stick-shaped ignition coil includes a center core, a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a body case that are substantially coaxially arranged relative to each other. The ignition coil further includes an igniter, a head case, a holder, and an electrically insulative resin. The head case accommodates the igniter. The head case is provided to an upper end portion of the body case. The holder is arranged between the igniter and upper ends of all the center core, the primary coil, and the secondary coil. The electrically insulative resin is filled in a first space, which is formed among the center core, the primary coil, the secondary coil, the body case, and the holder. The holder has at least one resin flow hole, through which epoxy resin is supplied into the first space, and at least one vent hole, through which air in the first space is vented to an outside.
