Summary: | A bearing system for a print roller with a simple adjustment of play has at least three concentric rings and two sets of bearing rollers. The inner ring (1) has a cylindrical outer bearing surface (5) while the next ring has a tapering inner profile to support a set of taper roller bearings (6). The taper profile of the bearings is overlaid by a slight convex profile for improved running characteristics. The axial position of the taper bearings is set by an adjustment ring (13) with an inner stop flange (12). The adjustment ring has an outer screw thread (14) and its setting is locked by a grub screw (16, 17). |
