Capacitive voltage converter with voltage divider

The capacitive voltage convertor consists of a capacitive voltage divider (2) whose divider point (TP) is connected to a resonance choke coil (11) and an intermediate convertor (8). At least the overvoltage coil (7) of the intermediate convertor is embedded in setting resin. The divider point is con...

Summary:The capacitive voltage convertor consists of a capacitive voltage divider (2) whose divider point (TP) is connected to a resonance choke coil (11) and an intermediate convertor (8). At least the overvoltage coil (7) of the intermediate convertor is embedded in setting resin. The divider point is connected first to the overvoltage coil of the intermediate converter, at least part of which is connected in series with the overvoltage coil of the resonance choke coil. The intermediate convertor with all its coil and core parts is embedded in a block of resin exposed to the atmosphere. The block carries the voltage divider via a flange connection.
