Summary:The method allows the optimum-energy switching on and switching off of heating boilers (HK1, HK2) of a boiler cascade acting on a common forward and return flow (1 and 2). The instantaneous power of each heating boiler (HK1, HK2) is recorded by means of the switch-on ratio ( epsilon ) of each burner (13, 15). The switching on and switching off of the heating boilers is initiated as a result of the power balance and taking into account the economic working point of each heating boiler (HK1, HK2).
