4-ALKOXY-2-OXO-PYRROLIDIN-1-YL-ESSIGSAEURE-C(1)-C(4)-ALKYLESTER, DEREN HERSTELLUNG UND VERWENDUNG

The novel alkyl 4-alkoxy-2-oxopyrrolidin-1-yl acetates were prepared by hydrogenation starting from 4-alkoxy-3-pyrrolin-2-on-1-yl acetic acid esters. These compounds are useful intermediates for the preparation of cerebrally active 4-hydroxy-2-oxo-pyrrolidin-1-yl-acetamide.
